Eastney Cruising Association

Since it was founded in 1958, the Eastney Cruising Association has grown steadily in size and now has a membership of 750 and occupies a site of approximately two acres at the entrance to Langstone Harbour.

The compound provides approximately 440 boat spaces for all types of vessels from sailboards and tenders, up to 11 metre cruisers and offers excellent facilities

The ECA welcomes all types of boating activity, such as sailboard, dinghy and catamaran racing, sailing and motor cruisers, Gig racing section, fishing, diving, powerboating, and water skiing.

Michelle Blakey, Office Manager says The existing ECA database was antiquated and in need of an upgrade, but we needed something that would be compatible with our accounts system.  Harbour Assist was recommended by Langstone Harbour Board who have been using it for a number of years and are very happy with the system.

Having gone live in early September 2022, Eastney Cruising Association are using Harbour Assist for their membership management and fees as well as managing the compound and other facilities.

Michelle continues Having Harbour Assist ‘live’ now, after the excellent training from Duncan, will make office life a lot easier and will streamline a lot of the processes that were originally in place and very time consuming.  Any follow up ‘tweaks’ have been sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Eastney Cruising Association went live early September 2022.
