Harbour Assist is pleased to welcome Wyndham Harbour, a leading marina destination in Victoria, Australia, to the Harbour Assist community. 

Located on the western edge of Port Phillip Bay, Wyndham Harbour operates a complex marina environment, managing wet berths, hardstand facilities, maintenance bays, fuel accounts, and a mix of short-, medium-, and long-term lease arrangements. As their operation evolved, so too did the need for a marina management system designed specifically for the realities and nuances of the marine industry. 

Why Wyndham Harbour Chose Harbour Assist 

Wyndham Harbour began reviewing its systems after recognising limitations in software originally designed for the holiday and caravan park sector rather than marinas. 

During their selection process, Harbour Assist stood out for taking a practical, business-led approach. Rather than leading with a generic sales pitch, the Harbour Assist team took time to understand Wyndham Harbour’s operations in advance, ensuring demonstrations were tailored to real-world workflows.

For Wyndham Harbour, moving away from spreadsheets and disconnected tools to a single, integrated system was a major step forward. 

A Clean Slate for Consistent Operations 

After several years on their previous system, Wyndham Harbour identified inconsistencies in how tasks and data were managed across teams. 

Implementing Harbour Assist provided the opportunity to review processes, clean historical data, and establish a more structured and consistent way of working. 

The result is a system that aligns closely with business processes, supports detailed and flexible reporting, and improves efficiency across marina and facility management. 

A Structured Onboarding Across Time Zones 

Wyndham Harbour went live with Harbour Assist on 1 September 2025, following a structured onboarding programme with clear milestones, documentation, and weekly check-ins. 

Despite being based in Australia, the team found the onboarding process seamless. 

Bree O’Rourke, Financial Controller at Wyndham Harbour, adds: 

Training was delivered in structured modules over several weeks, allowing staff to test functionality between sessions and raise questions as they progressed. 

Looking Ahead 

Wyndham Harbour is now using Harbour Assist to manage customers, leases, billing, fuel accounts, occupancies, and reporting, with plans to explore further functionality such as online customer bookings.
