Lakeland Leisure Estates has recently expanded its collection of marinas by acquiring Barton Marina on the Trent & Mersey canal.

This exciting addition offers over 300 berths and provides both Leisure and Residential moorings in the picturesque setting of rural Staffordshire, near Barton under Needwood. With something for everyone at Barton Marina, it is a fantastic addition for Lakeland Leisure Estates.

Lakeland Leisure Estates has been utilising Harbour Assist to manage their marina portfolio since 2020. With the acquisition of Barton Marina, integrating the marina into the same management system became a top priority.

Anthony Jones, Operations Director says , “The implementation of Harbour Assist into Barton Marina was seamless, the team provided us with guidance and support all the way through the migration. The staff at Barton Marina absolutely love the system, it has streamlined the management of the Marina and made life a lot easier for all concerned. Using smart lists has allowed the staff to effectively communicate between both leisure and residential berth holders, this was a challenge in the past.”

Harbour Assist implemented, trained, and supported the Barton team during the system installation process, allowing the timely delivery of annual renewals to Barton Marina customers in April.
